Rangers FC from Glasgow are one of the few clubs among Europe’s Elite to invest in nurturing academy players rather than buying top talent from different clubs. With an eye to attract and develop top talent from India by capatilising on the enormous popularity of football in the country and capture a massive fan base in the years to come, Rangers FC is tying up with Candor International School in an exclusive partnership and a first in India on a long-term project. To achieve this goal, Rangers FC will send one of its top youth development coaches to be based in India at Candor International School who will help scout and nurture promising young footballers from across the country on a year-long basis.
To fulfil its goal towards producing a professional-level footballer – The Rangers FC Academy stipulates that every one of its young footballers undergoes over 600 hours of training each year based on the Rangers Academy curriculum and an extensive ‘match-play’ format. At Candor International School, Rangers FC will replicate that model by training a select number of talented footballers across various age groups – through training drills and sessions conducted by the Rangers FC coach each day in the morning and evening parallel to the academic calendar. - 3 hours of training per day (weekdays - both morning and evening sessions) - 32 weeks of training under International Head Coach during the academic calendar - Intensive training regimen ahead of competitive games - Matches & Tournaments, both Domestic & International - 5-DAY TRIAL & MATCH EXPERIENCE AT RANGERS FC HOME IN GLASGOW
